Our mission is to bring health to the hood.

People can’t be expected to feel and perform their best when they don’t have access to healthier foods and healthier options in general, which is often the case in underserved communities like Compton. We want to change what health looks like in the hood.

I grew up undocumented in Lynwood, CA. There was no way to attend college due to a lack of scholarships and student loans for undocumented students. At 21, I bought my first business: a tiny video store in the Indoor Swap Meet outside of Compton. During that time I discovered my passion for health and wellness, reconnected with my roots, and dedicated my life to helping others embark on a healing path. To this day, nothing invigorates me more than sharing what I know about natural medicine and helping others along their journey towards their healthiest selves.

Compton is amazing. The people here really care about their neighborhood and city as a whole and want to see it thrive.

Money. Or a lack of it, rather. As an undocupreneur, there’s no access to credit, and therefore, no access to loans to help the business grow. We depended on slower but steady growth, which ultimately helped us build trust and a great relationship with the people we serve.
